ugh. i hate all this shit.
ok so there's this girl, becca. and she and i are friends, but we haven't really seen each other in a while. so she's in marching band with my friend steven. and steven likes becca, so he asks her on a date. she accepts, and they're flirting a lot and stuff and i'm happy for them. but, ok, they're not together, he just asked her to the movies and they have yet to go. so then tonight, me and steven and becca and a bunch of other people go out to the diner. and i'm sitting next to becca and i'm making these jokes about sleeping with everyone, and everyone included becca, and she was playing along, and we were laughing and i guess flirting a little. so then we get to kayti's house and the following comments were made:
kayti: so where do you guys want to go?
becca: *grabs my hand* me and jess get the bedroom!
me: hehehe..
steven: *death glare @ me*
tj: whoa that's a nice bed
becca: it'd be even nicer if i had jess in it with me.
me: ...
becca: your boobs look kinda pointy.
me: haha it's just my bra
becca: is it padded? *feels around my chest*

but i'm just like whatever 'cause i'm just thinking of it as a joke. so then we go to tom's house and we're on his trampoline and we're sitting there and i go to get some water and she goes "come be my snuggle bunny!" and i'm like "haha when I get back" but I was just kidding. but then i get back and i said something and i gave her a hug, and when i pulled away, she pulled me back and she was like "you're warm, hold me." so I was like "um ok" but then i noticed that steven was like all alone so I go "i'm sure steven's warm, too, why doesn't he hold you?" and i pushed her to him and she was like "ugh fine.." and so I figured I was ok from there.
but no, I'm sitting and she's in front of me and he's next to me, and becca slides up and sits in my lap and leans her head back onto my shoulder and puts her hands on my knees. and i'm just like "err..." and everyone started jumping so she started to slide down until her head is on my lap. so she gets up and when i figure she's gonna go jump with steven, she comes back and gets back into my lap.
so then when we all went home, everyone is pissed at me for "moving in on steven's territory." and i'm trying to set everything straight about how i didn't think of it as anything more than just playful flirting. and i didn't think that so bad because 1) they're not going out and 2) it wasn't like i was imposing myself upon her. she obviously wanted it, even a little more than me.
so now i have to try and get in touch with michelle before she shows up at my door with a pitchfork and torch. x.x steven's not mad at me, i got it all straightened out with him:

the worst part of it is, if i could do it over again, i wouldn't have stopped myself. because i'm not gonna lie, it felt good to finally have that attention.
in other news, MANDIE IS STRAIGHTER THAN A STEEL POLE. which kind of contributed to why i didn't completely push becca away. =/ which is bad, but..i couldn't help it..*sigh*
