[Howdy, Mayfield! It's your new Sheriff doll out and about after jumping out Sealand's window to freedom! He's currently taking the smart route and running through everyone's backyards and frontyards (staying close to houses is actually way safer than running on a sidewalk, y'know)! [Eep! Woody's freaking out for a moment at the other voice, but when he sees that it's nothing more than another toy he's relieved. After all, when he tried to speak with the other toys around Mayfield, they did nothing, like blank slates. It was very worrisome.]

Uh... Howdy, partner...

[He walks out from around the corner he'd ran around, nervously waving at the white plush.]

[Reynardine looked the toy coyboy over, all the while mentally cursing his inability to look at things through the Etherium right now.]

And I thought I had it bad...

So what are you supposed to be, then?

[Tilts his head, a little indignant.]

I'm a cowboy doll! What else would I be?

[Relm is sitting on the back porch, idly sketching!]

[Oh hey, there's something shaking in the bushes near you! You gonna check it out, lil' missy?]

[Of course she is. Moving silently (or as silently as a very curious young girl can), she creeps up on the bushes... and suddenly parts them.]

[And it's... a cat! Its collar is looped a few times on a branch.

Relm might hear a shaking of the bushes behind her, and if she turns she'll see one little cowboy shoe vanishing into the greenery. He starts crawling through the hole in the fence, but gets stuck! And he's now trying to kick his feet into the ground to get through.]

[ How about a fox? Can he understand fox?

Well nevermind, Ren is taking a nap under the tree, but hears you with its super hearing. ]

[Woody looks all ways for any sign of danger before walking out. He can't understand you, but he's fond of animals nonetheless! You're like a big puppy-cat to the little cowboy.]

Heeey, little fella. Well, big fella, to me. I've never seen a fox living in a neighborhood like this before.

[ Ren flicks its ears, raising its head up to look at the... small thing that is talking to it. And blinking. And who are you calling a puppy-cat you bastard!

It gets up, carefully getting closer to Woody and sniffing him. ]

[Woody pats your nose nervously, hoping you're not like a normal dog or Scud. He would rather not get chewed on this fine day... He speaks, a little nervous.]

Hi, there! I'm Woody. Nice to meet you.

[Tiffany is looking for him outside...]

[It's quite a few hours later, and many obvious close calls, m'lady! But your work's paid off--you'll find Woody sitting at the very edge of town. Believe it or not, the poor guy has already had to run across Mayfield twice after reappearing on the other side of it. Suffice to say, a few drones saw him but merely mistook him as a pretty cool toy.

So yep, he'll be sitting there with his arms wrapped around his knees and his head bowed sadly, right in the middle of the road nobody seems to go down. He's just realized he's stuck there, just like they said.]

[Comes quietly up. She's seen odder things]

[You get a sigh and a sinking of shoulders, but he doesn't turn to look at you. He's pretty much fine with the fact that you're talking to him; heck, you knew he was alive since Sealand's room.]

... How am I ever gonna get home to Andy now?

[Cynric's sitting on his front lawn with a pile of this crazy newfangled futuristic technology he's so fascinated with. Currently it's ballpoint pens, which are about 10 years ahead of where he's from. He's furiously drawing and scribbling onto pieces of paper, occasionally holding one up, looking satisfied and muttering something happily to himself.]

Amazing! It's still writing strong! With no need to refill!

[What a strange fellow. But that's not going to detour Woody from his goal--to get outta' this city! So he climbs up a drainage pipe and ninja's his way across the roof of your house. But of course he slips and makes a little racket!

When your character looks up, he'll appear to be a regular doll laying on the roof, arms hanging over the edge.]

[Ooooh, what is that and when did it get there? Cynric will get up to investigate but is waaaaaaay to short to reach. So, he'll throw pens at you in an effort to knock you down. ]

[Argh, whyyyy--he slips! But alas, his boot caught on the drainage system and he's hanging by a leg out of your grasp. And one of your pens is stuck up here! Woe!]
