EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, SUPERIOR...

As they were calling out the ratings last night, I didn't feel bad. It's what we deserved, and this band won't do any better than that. Right after I called everyone to attention TO GET OUR RATINGS, people were still talking and moving around. They don't know discipline and it's really depressing. But Mr. Clark needs to step up because hopefully ( Read more... )

i couldnt make it last night because of my homework overload..

but wow..
i really don't know what to say. :(

maybe, just maybe he should have used a bit of the "alumni" help that he pissed and moaned about for some reason or other.
not to take over the band, of course,
but to help carry on the traditions..
like discipline.

but ive seen you guys on the field, and i think you are awesome..
the potential is most definitely there.
i believe that you can still pull off an overall superior.

i love and miss ya, kiddo.
and i shall be there at FBA.

I agree with you Teresa. Josh went to help with drumline and they kicked him out sayin they didn't need him and they'd do just fine without him. Josh and I went Saturday night and it was awful, no offense to the band members. But Mr. Clark and Clint (the drum instructor) got what they asked for. I told Josh to go up to Clint and be like good job with the excellent, glad you didn't need my help. It's ridiculous that he wouldn't let people help out. Poor band director if you ask me. Hope he's embarrassed.

Yeah the whole rule with "No Alumni" is crap. Josh should have been able to come help out because he knows what it's like to be in this band, Clint doesn't. So I agree with you 100%.

mr clark got pissed bc they automatically blamed it on the students. a few of them kept saying we didnt drink enough, and that we need to tough it out. he doesnt realize, even after his little talk, how many people still dont care. and thats what hurts. come FBA im scared to think of how many people are actually going to have different attitudes about all of this...

after froday night, (which i had no effing control over my blood sugar getting low again) a certain lady told me to suck it up. i wasnt even complaining.... and besides, she made it sound like it was my fault.... i cant control my sugar levels.... even when i do eat a lot....
