That happened to a friend of mine- pretty much the same symptoms and she went to the ER also. They were just going to take her appendix out without even checking! Luckily, she said "no" to that. Later, they found some gall-stones but the doctor didn't think they were a big deal.
After she got out of the ER, her regular doctor told her she was having a gall-bladder attack but there isn't much they can do until it happens again!
My second guess would have been kidney infection (because when I had one it was the same symptoms as well.) However, the pelvic exam should have indicated that- mine was diagnosed with a urine test (red and white blood cells were found.)
They were considering taking out my appendix, but luckily they changed their minds because the CAT scan showed no signs of it. Not that I really need my appendix...but still, best to avoid unnecessary surgery.
If I end up going to see my regular doctor I'll ask about gall-stones...
There is no "if I end up going to see". You should go see your doctor every year! She's there to help you and make those pelvic exams less painful and awkward.
Welcome to the world of, "I'm getting an ultrasound? I'm not pregnant! What the hell is that?! Get it away!!" It's not fun.
I'm glad you're better. Did they check for kidney stones?
Dude~~~ o.o I'm glad you're okay. That sucks though that they never found out what was causing it. I don't even have any ideas to contribute or theories of what it could have been. 8D Hopefully you're feeling better. :x

They looked at my kidney's apparently, but they didn't see anything unusual.
