Time for me to brush the dust off my LJ once more. (I wonder how many times my LJ entries have started with me expressing my intention to post more often

I know I've said it before, but ladies with our body types and weirdo blood sugar really benefit from going low GI (not really low carb - just generally avoiding blood sugar spiking foods). I'm starting low GI again next week, after the big blow-out for Kixie and Jaeden's birthday.
Also, I started keeping a food and exercise journal. I admit I lapsed on it during that time of the month... which is my usual binge time, but I started it back up.

Get a date. And by this I mean work on coming out of my shell and put myself out there more. I can't just sit back idly and hope something happens. Take initiative, Sarah!
I've been waiting for you to say this for about four years now :).

I know it's been muddling around in your head, as I said, I've been waiting for you to say it. If you need any advice on safe "putting yourself out there" ask Alicia.
These are really great resolutions. If you're looking for a good gym to join, I highly recommend WomenFit. It's in Manassas off 234, right across from the mall, and it's women only, so you don't have to worry about impressing men, or worrying about them staring at you while you work out. The staff there are really friendly and attentive to people's needs, especially if you pay the extra to get a personal trainer, and the classes are alot of fun and really beneficial. The price is only .... $42 a month? I think? I don't remember anymore cuz I have automatic bill pay. ^^; But my goal is to go to the gym more, and since your schedule is always changing, maybe you can have some mornings off when we can go together, even if it's just to run on the treadmill. :)
Not sure if I can really afford a gym membership at the moment, but once I get a better paying job with regular hours I might look into finding a gym that I could go to after work.
