It feels hella good to get everything finished when moving. I remember moving last December, and it felt really good to be moved in by the 1st of January. I'm relieved to see that our two places look hella similar when moving! XD

Movies
SLC Punk!
Memento
K-Pax

Lilo & Stitch
Office Space

Oooh The Sting. I wish for the good old days when everyone said everything was jake. "How's the wine?" he asks. "Its jake" I reply. "How bout that game/match/whatnot?" "It was totally jake the way they..."

New place looks super cool!
Okay so we have totally different taste in movies, but I will try my best to recommend a few without gore, blood and entrails.

Peter Pan (the new one, not the shitty Disney version)
Kundun (all about the Dalai Lama)
The Village (I liked it)
Looking For Richard (Al Pacino does Shakespeare - and does it pretty well!)
Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead
Arsenic & Old Lace
Casablanca
The Maltese Falcon

If I think of any more, I'll let you know.
By the way - what the hell are you going in for surgery for?!?!?!
I hope all goes well.

thanks :) You'll need to come by and meet the new kitty (and the other kitty!) and play some cheap poker or something soon. It's been a loooooooooooong time for us

Thanks for all of those..I grabbed all I could find (netflix didn't have looking for richard? or maybe I searched poorly..)

I've seen Arsenic & Old Lace on stage..I had no idea it even was a movie!

It's a really simple surgery. I have cysts on my jaw that have been there for almost..3? 4? years now. THey're just getting huge and I'm finally getting them removed. Nothing life threatening, but I do get to be a sloth on pain killers for a week..so..yay!

thanks again :D

Totally a movie too - Cary Grant AND the creepy bug eyed guy from Casablanca. How could it not be good.

Movies I've seen recently that I think are good:
Swordfish
The Incredibles
Saving Silverman
Zoolander
(I 2nd the 1st suggestion for Memento, it's so good!)

Hope your surgery goes well and I hope you don't feel soo much pain.
It's cute how the kitties are in the middle of everything "what's going on?"
Does the black kitty have a name yet?
Anyway, I wish you the best and it was nice hearing from you!

we decided on Ichi for little kitty (it means one in Japanese..) since it fits him really well (we call him Ichers (like eeechers) most of the time) and because he found us on our year anniversary (best present ever!!).

they are soooo in the middle of it all. it's adorable

thank you for the movies and the best wishes! I hope stuff is good with you and I can't wait to see pics of the tat (did I miss them in yourjournal somewhere?)

Those pictures were taken the day it happened, so the redness isn't there anymore and it really isn't blurry in real life! haha

that a cute name for a kitty. So you have a Squeakers and a Eeechers!

finding neverland
instinct (based on ishmael)
the fisher king
dead poets society
say anything
princess bride
the jungle book (if possible print out song lyrics to the jungle book and sing along as loud as possible which should turn your new place into almost a living musical with everyone singing and having fun or annoy everyone you live with...if your stuck on the couch share the misery :)

hahaha..I love the Jungle Book! *and* the sound track. I was going to do "I Wanna Be Like You" for a solo in my voice class, but I ended up not being able to because of this jaw-area surgery and no-time for the class. (but I only dropped one this semester..go me :-D)

Thanks for the movies! speaking of those, we have your PJ tape. Actually Chris found it..I think it's MTV unplugged..but I haven't looked at it yet (and we don't have a vcr..damn!) next time we're up in Portland we'll definitely bring it, if it's before we happen to see youd own here. That way we'll most *definitely* have to get together and rehash good times :)
