Hmm, I know Sentrets are supposed cautious, but I don't think my Mocha was ever quite that skittish.

I suppose Pokémon's personalities can vary as much as our own, then. [ A small smile. ]

What is your Sentret like?

Well, Mocha just evolved into a Furret, but she's always been pretty sweet and cuddly. She doesn't like battling that much, but she'll hold her ground to help protect the other Pokémon.

I see. [ He looks down at his Sentret, though it's an affectionate look. ] I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Pokémon have such varied personalities, though hopefully this one will learn to stand his ground as well.

I don't think I had much of a choice with Taci - she's very headstrong. [ Flynn's voice is obviously affectionate, though; Taci's habit of menacing random passerby is more adorable than worrisome, considering she doesn't even come up to his knees. ]

Heh. That's a good thing. Pokemon are built to fight, so if they want to, there's no stopping them.

That seems a bit odd, don't you think? That they're build to fight, that is. The monsters back home were aggressive, of course, but it was usually because of territory or food issues.

[Luke jogged up to the blond, a bright grin on his face. Oh how happy he was that Guy was here too, even if that would make him getting an Eevee named Guy a little awkward.

[ Flynn doesn't turn around at first - obviously - as that's not his name Luke is calling out. But it becomes harder to ignore when the guy is closer and very clearly talking to him.

Considering how unlikely it is that this incident and the other one are unrelated, Flynn is going to assume that this stranger and Anise know each other. ] My name is Flynn Scifo.
