Event One! Who's up for a party?

[Things have been slow at Luigi's the last few months, and as anyone in the restaurant business knows this simply will not do! In an effort to lure some business and money, Luigi's decided to throw a party and offer some specials for those who would like to attend. He's even made a flyer for this joyous event!]

Alex is sat at the bar, already halfway through a glass of house red.

"It's open. And expecting quite the turnout if the decor is any indication."

Alex shoots this woman a look because, well, here's the weird thing about Luigi's. People come from all different times and places and, in Alex's time-line, she hasn't actually met Louise yet. So she's a little confused.

"Sorry, do I know you?"

Surprisingly, Gene isn't the first to arrive at Luigi's, nor does he make a big fuss of announcing his arrival. He simply orders a bottle of scotch and skulks off to his corner, bottle and glass in one hand and a newspaper in the other.

Eventually Alex finds her way to the corner, glass of wine in hand, and she gives Gene a small smile.

"Work your way up to your free pizza yet?"

Gene glances towards the half empty bottle of scotch. "'m hoping a bottle counts as one drink so I can avoid the pizza." Pizza was nice, steak and chips were nice, steak and chip pizza? Not so much so.

Alex is close to earning her second one and it's not a thought she relishes. She sits down at the table, too impatient to wait for him to offer.

"Anything of interest?" she asks, nodding towards the paper in his hand.
