I haven't read the fic yet, but The Secret Garden has always been one of my favorite books. This book, along with A Little Princess and Anne of Green Gables, defined my childhood. I officially love you for writing this. <3

Sorry to butt in, but - ARE YOU ME? I Re-read The Secret Garden over and over and over again when I was little and I so shipped Mary/Dickon (even if I didn't really know what shipping was back then) and gahh. And I read the Anne of Green Gable series but there was an animated television show on in Canada that I used to watch that everyday after school. And the A Little Princess book/movie combo literally got me through ages 9 - 11. You just named all of my favorites. SO MANY MEMORIES!

This story is so wonderfully descriptive! I felt like I was seeing what Sam saw throughout the whole story. "The Secret Garden" was a favorite of mine too growing up. I really enjoyed this story very much. Thank you!
