I am still completely in awe of the damage and devistation along the gulf coast, caused by the recent hurricane. I have been watching the news at every available moment, trying to keep myself up-to-date on the relief effort, one of the largest relief efforts ever taken on by the United States, in its entire history. it probably has something to do with the fact that the US pissed off so many other countries with the whole war on terrorism which has not yet ended. our governments actions in recent years have not been the friendliest to foreign countries. Yeah we helped with the Tsunami relief, but that doesn't mean that the other countries who may not have as much as we do to give are going to see the damage on our population and ignore all of the politics. sucks don't it?

Bah catastrophe. It'll be a REAL catastrophe when another hurricane comes next week and wipes the rest of it out.
