The new format is still slightly painful to read, but a lot better than the previous one. I like it.
I also agree that kids today have pretty much given up on the whole idea of Halloween in favor of Get-candy-day. A bunch of teenagers showed up at my house earlier this evening, and literally none (out of 7) of them had costumes. So I told them that if they got costumes, they could come back and get candy. Otherwise, go home. They were pretty angry, but it was stupid anyway. At least try to get into the spirit, people!
Anyway, back to college essay writing. Good luck with everything!

I said "trick-or-treat"!!! ...yes, I went trick-or-treating earlier... :-) at least I had a costume!!! (I had black wings and a black feather boa too!!)
number one i agree on little kids. i actually had a little kid not be happy with the amount of candy i gave him, walk into the house, stick his hand in the bucket, and pull out more. not ok. i think you're cool.
