Mark your calendars now for the Eleventh Annual Concord Education Fund Spelling Bee and Silent Auction, Saturday, November 20, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in the CCHS auditorium. Your friends and neighbors, teachers, students, CCHS Principal Art Dulong, Concord schools Superintendent Brenda Finn, firefighters, police officers, postal workers, business owners, selectmen, School Committee and Finance Committee members, and many more will strive to outspell each other in a spirit of fun and hilarity, all with the goal of raising monies for the Concord Education Fund. Jere Mead, CCHS Latin teacher and member of the 1998 Spelling Bee Championship team, will moderate the event. Plan to come to test your skill, to catch up with friends and neighbors, and to support fundraising for programs at Concord Public Schools and Concord-Carlisle High School.

Hey Casey, I think I've told you this but I just wanted to make sure you knew. I was meeting with Steve one time and I zoned out and my eyes lost focus and I realized that I was staring at his crotch. And once you look at it once, you just can't stop. I wanted to die. I might have, actually. Died, that is.
