Okay. So thing about Organization XIII is that each member is affiliated with a particular element. Saïx is referred to as the Luna Diviner and is rather unsurprisingly aligned with the moon. This means he'd be able to pick up other people who are connected to the moon somehow! If you aren't sure, feel free to comment anyway and we can work the ( Read more... )

Genkaku is extremely affiliated with the moon, both canon and headcanon for me. He died under a moon after being locked in prison for abouuuut six years, which made a huge pinnacle for him, plus a lot of Buddhist holidays surround full moons. His moods in his life sort of waxed and waned with it (not to Saïx's degree!). I'm certain your boy'd be able to pick something off'a him.

Beat and Hikaru however are ignorant to that kinda thing.

Haha yeah, Saïx is pretty much the king of moon-affected moods, but yeah. He'll probably catch some resonance there. He might not talk about it, but that's only to be expected.

"Resonance" would be a good way to put it. 8)

I'm liking this permanent-permissions-post idea.

Vampire here! o/ Very affiliated with and affected by the moon.

Same here /o/

Anyway, is it... just an affinity or is it kind of a werewolf sort of thing?

She does have a good affinity to it, but a little bit of the other, too? There's no solid canon evidence of Remilia being empowered by the moon (I think), but she makes a few passing references about the strength of it and being 'invincible' during the full moon (which she is not). That's either Remi being an arrogant brat, or she is able to draw power from it to a degree. The way I tend to write it is she does get a little power boost from it, but it's mostly lunacy/becoming more vulnerable to lunacy.

And I don't know if it affects it at all, but she does love the moon and miss it like crazy XD Above her house, the moon would canonly turn red.

Got it. o7 That sounds a lot like how Saïx's abilities are shown to work in canon - he gets power from the moon and ends up more than a little berserk as a result. I tend to play it that he can get at that rage without explicitly needing the moon, but that if the moon's around he gets edgier almost, if he has to keep from going mad.

So really, I'm seeing they need to talk about the moon some day :D

Okay, I'm not sure here, but I'm going ahead and letting you know so you can judge for yourself.

The kids of Homestuck all have dream-selfs that are connected to the game's two moons. Each time they sleep, they "swap selves" and awaken on their moon. The two moons of Skaia are Prospit and Derse, and are related to the war for Skaia (as they are the home of the two opposing factions). The two moons are also somewhat connected to the different kind of "guiding forces" the children have access too. Rose's moon is Derse, the dark moon. It houses the forces the darkness that are intended to destroy Skaia (but Rose doesn't necessarily want this). The denizens of this moon can also listen to the cries of the horroterrors of the furthest ring.

Do with that what you will! o/

I think... I will probably peg that as a minor affiliation with the moon. Possibly with a sort of darkness back up, since Light and Dark are major themes in Kingdom Hearts.

Sounds fair! o/

Oh, in that case you would also like to know that Rose is channeling/utilizing the forbidden powers of the horroterrors and probably smells strongly of darkness.

Smelling darkness is more Zexion's line of business than Saïx's, but yeah, he'd probably pick up on something there.

Patchouli, while not affiliated with the moon per se, can cast Moon-related magic rather well. Saïx can probably pick up on this fact really easily.

apathetic_seal, on the other hand, is more closely moon-aligned. All his important battles throughout Persona 3 were all fought under a full moon, and in the end he more or less sealed the moon, ie Nyx.
Also, One of his Social Link Arcana is the Moon, but that's mixed in with tewnty-one others, so I'm not sure what you'd want to do with that.

Inn Minato's case it probably be more him picking up the alignment up through the battles and thinks. The rest will probably get lost in the more major notes.
