AGO Recital

I played on the Ann Arbor American Guild of Organists Christmas Recital tonight. I played three pieces. I played two settings from Max Reger's Op.135a, Vom Himmel hoch, and Wachet auf and Marilyn Shrude's setting of Wachet auf. Shrude is a composition prof. at Bowling Green State University. I played this piece on my master's recital there and

I'm going to your 12/13 show! Try to sneak in a couple seconds of "Beautiful People" if you can. The church won't notice.

I played that on some organs in Europe a few years ago! I will certainly play it Friday night!
