Chapter 27b

Jon finds Robb’s wife to be a sweet lady with a good measure of intelligence and a spark within her. Now in the last month of her pregnancy she has been confined to her rooms except for meal times by the Maester’s orders, and appears to be quite frustrated by it.

Lady Catelyn Stark’s welcome of him is predictably cool, though she gives ( Read more... )

Awwwwww!!! No! that cliff-hanger :O beautiful the way you described sandor being confident in his request, but gods, the suspense is gonna be torture, you tease! :')
But seriously, this chapter- i liked the pace and the emotion it possessed. the way jon was observant of everything around him and when he reunited with arya i was smiling so very much, and was specially touched by the bit where he says Clegane sounds like a hero to her.
I also laughed with the bit of Robb disliking his family to call him by his royal titles cause it means they are angry at him.
love the subtle hints that sandor and sansa just couldn't hide from the world now, and awwww, again, what on earth is going to happen now?! Will robb approve? will their be confrontations & elopments?
Just great!

He is confident, regardless of Robb's answer he knows he'll have her, Sansa's not going to let Robb decide her fate :)

Jon is very much the outsider of the pack, he's used to observing and drawing his own conclusions, and seeing them all after such a long time the differences are easy for him to spot when he hasn't seen the way they came about!

Hehehe yes, 'Your Grace' usually means that Robb has royally annoyed them in some way ;)

Ah yes, our love birds are having a hard time hiding their love away, but not too long now :)

Aaarggghh! Indeed, love/hate the cliffhanger... Sandor had to try, for Sansa's sake, but...
This story just wounds its way so nicely among the events and people we know. Love the way how Sansa and Sandor can't hide what they feel!

I hope that when the question is resolved that the resolution is as realistic as I'd hoped for! There's just so much politics that it's sometimes hard to get my head around how things should be fitting in! As for Sansa and Sandors, reminds me of the Beatles song "You've got to hide your love away" :)

Robb's going to have some difficult times coming up, that's for sure! If he doesn't have the loyalty of all his bannermen then he would have a difficult time hanging onto the North without Stannis' help.

Sandor's definitely not one for the long flowery speeches :)

What a way to end a chapter! I’m glad that Sandor is asking but am also scared of Robb’s reaction. Thanks to the gods that Catelyn is not there though!!! It was nice that Jon noticed the bond between Sansa and Sandor, hopefully with his experience with Ygritte he’ll be sympathetic to his sister’s love story…
Only three chapters after that? Well, as much it is sad to end a story, it is also exciting to see how it will be resolved! Can’t wait for it! :)

Ooo if Catelyn was there then it would definitely be a disaster! No way in all seven hells that she would even listen to anything after that, haha!

I'll be sad to end it too, but they're almost at the point that I wanted them to reach and it'll soon be time to leave them there :) Am just hoping it turns out alright!
