I find it fascinating how you have also found ASOIAF and the wonderful world of SanSan just this year, just like myself. Seeing you exclaiming yourself to be obsessed makes me feel better about my own fixation! Maybe I am not such a weirdo after all... :-)

Good luck with your writing, novel and fanfic alike! And let me tell you once again how much I enjoyed 'Cut It' - what a great story!

Oh I'm terribly nerdy with my fandom fixations to be sure :) it's terrible how excited i get over fic and art and any sort of news about the books and show! Very glad to be discovering it alongside you, it's always wonderful to know you're not alone in a fandom obsession :)

I just finished up ASOIAF in 2012, too! Sometimes I feel like some people in the fandom have been around forever, so it's nice to see some other recent joiners :)

I'm incredibly glad that this is a fandom which is so welcoming too, was royally nervous when I first joined it about whether people would be accepting of a newbie or not :)

I feel exactly the same way. Have we only known each other for a few months? Hard to fathom. I concur with your "Biggest Disappointment" comment. This is the first fandom I've been in and I'm much more weary of people in Jan 2013 than I was in Jan 2012. But I must say that you are a very generous spirit, the kind of woman that would make me feel embarrassed should I behave in any small way towards others in front of you. I'm glad I can say that of my fandom friends, that we encourage each others' better natures.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?

Work on all 5 (6?) of the fic ideas I currently have, finish at least 3 of them. Write some more of the damn novel and try to get it finished.I look forward to reading your new efforts. I believe you've only teased the modern AU, but its whet my ( ... )

I'm glad we were able to chat during the 'biggest disappointment' because there was a time there when I really, truly needed to vent about the whole thing or I probably would've very deeply put my foot in it.

Wheeee! I hope you'll enjoy the rest of the Modern AU, I've been plugging away at it, and I'm hoping it might be ready to start posting soonish!

Holy crap I can't believe my tale made the favs list!! *blushes* I mean those are some serious heavy hitters there! Such brilliant author's every one of them!

I definitely hear you on writing one-shots they're quick easy and over with in a flash the guilt free kind of fun XD

I hope your first day in your new job goes really smoothly for you and that the job is even better than you could have imagined!

Oh gosh so am I! Its been a blast hasn't it? *high5* Though my word girl let me say you never need fear your writing being less than en par you're a brilliant writer!! I love that tale :D I've always had a great love of the B&B tale and to see them intermixed so superbly was a dream come true :)

Oneshots! One day after posting the end of the tale and I've already started writing oneshots for the universe, hahaha. I'll leave it awhile and collect a few more before posting though. Easier than a sequel ;)

Thank you for the job wishes :D I'm excited for it to finally be happening! Lots of nerves too, but that can be a good thing!

And here's to an even bigger and better 2013 for us all :D
