Random Facts tag!

I was tagged a few times, so as a compromise I have written 20! I couldn't think of any more... Every single one of you who reads this, consider yourselves tagged in return!

  1. There are very few vegetables I hate but the one I can’t stand is Okra. That vegetable is disgusting and it needs to die.
  2. I have never had my own proper pet and have always ( Read more... )

I've gotten my sleeves stuck on the handles of baby's prams walking past them before. My headphones seem to magically unwind and get stuck on anything available too, yanking me back :|

That's so neat how you were an extra in movies!

heh I had to laugh about your escape plan from your first date with your hubby that sounds like something I'd do hahah

#4 Just like to say that you're made of awesome. That is so cute! (dancing to tunes while in the market).

Have to ask is the 'Bunny' reference inspired by the movie Nightmare before Christmas? Have to ask its one of my all time favorite movies growing up ^^;;

And for the record am envious at your knack for learning languages! ^^

I have to admit that I hadn't dated for 18 months at that point, and was very wary of men in general! Lucky for him he managed to impress ;)

Bunny is just because I love bunnies! I also tend to exclaim "PUPPY!" and "KITTIES!" whenever I see them as well, haha!

I talk to myself as well in the supermarket. Or to the groceries. "Why are you so expensive? Why can't I afford to buy you?"

Oh goodness well kudos to him for charming you against all odds! =D You two (I k now I say this far too much) make for such a lovely pair seriously!

HAHAH Really? When I read the bunny bit I just had a flashback of that scene from Nightmare before Christmas when the Halloween folk meet the Easter bunny. Such a funny scene XD

Oh I do that too!! HAHAHA Though its more me grumbling under my breath why its so expensive to eat proper when its so cheap to eat crap food hahahah

Sorry I forgot to ask about your time as a Bollywood extra! How did you get into it and did you enjoy. Definitely wins the coolest random fact award.

Over here when they want to pretend a scene has been shot overseas they try to fill the background with white people. Generally there's agents that trawl the tourist areas to try and get people to come and shoot for a day ( ... )

I love your list! Am jealous of your language skills especially reading languages that are not based on the Roman alphabet. Lol at your Bollywood extra visor. I think its to make you more western looking in a way that parodies western clothing. Maybe they searched for a bum bag too but couldn't find one.

I've tried learning to read Hindi but since I've never had proper lessons only learned half the alphabet and gave up, haha!

A friend who saw the movie said apparently I was meant to be part of some film production crew (that's shooting a movie in that movie). All I know is that I had to watch people playing fussball then stand up and turn around when the star walked in.

Oscar award winning performance there!

Y U NO LIKE OKRA?

It is slimy I admit. But have you had it battered & fried? I do make your own tempura at dinner parties sometimes (using fondue pots with hot oil). Once I added okra to the vegetable platter, and people were amazed at how delicious (and nonslimy)fried battered okra was.

I talk to myself as well in the supermarket. Or to the groceries. "Why are you so expensive? Why can't I afford to buy you?"
Haha, I have this problem. I love leeks but its more than 10x the cost of an onion or a bunch of scallions. Its hard to justify buying leeks when they only taste 30% better yet cost 1000% more. Occasionally, I indulge myself by buying just one. Making mushroom lasagna tonight, that leek with its $2.50 price tag better shine!

Exactly because of the sliminess :( but I'm not too keen on the taste either!

Ooooo leeks! I love leeks! Would put them in everything if I could. I have a brilliant recipe for a leek and fish pie. They're expensive by other vege standards here but still affordable - between Rs 30-60 per leek depending on the season. I keep finding excuses to make things with them! Btw have I evangelised to you about the Donna Hay cooking magazine iPad app yet?

Aha! Your poor friend! I trip over my own feet constantly, I think I might be lacking proper depth perception... or just constantly exist in some dreamworld in my own head and fail to notice obstacles!
