This chapter was great. I could absolutely play every scene easily in my head, you painted a very vivid picture. Loving this story and looking forward to more.

Thank you :D :D You know how to make me very happy :) I worry quite often that I'm a bit short on description when I write!

Poor SanSan! It’s plain how they are both equally broken in so many ways… At least they’re together and hopefully they’ll be able to pass beyond everything that troubles them. I so want Sansa to open her heart to Sandor, sniff…

I'll always have a carefully protected hope that one day it'll be their brokenness that brings them together - that shared understanding of who they both are and how suffering has changed her :)

Sansa's definitely shuffling slowly towards that point, working her way there!

oh my, what a beautiful chapter. i was in mexico city in january and was imagining sandor and sansa visiting the places i went to... so sweet these two! you write and know them so very well. even if things are not quite clear for them, the level of intimacy and trust that they find themselves in now is just beautiful <3 <3 <3

It's been 10 years now since I visited Mexico and I was trying to remember everything I'd seen and done there for some examples for them! Would love to go back one day :)

That level of intimacy and trust is growing and we've almost reached boiling point :)

The building intimacy here is beautiful and I like Sandor's excuse why he needed to hold her hand when they arrived in Mexico City : )
The ending is so well written, now that Sansa is beginning to feel safe and a bit drunk she can cry.

I agree with all that Westeros has said. It is the first time that she allows her to cry out her grief and about al the things that she had been holding inside.

It's definitely an important point she's reached now, allowing him to see past the masks she uses to protect herself!

That Sandor, he knows how to make excuses ;) I would say that Sansa has probably needed a good cry and a good hug for years and years now!
