Thank you! I do love being able to play with and build it up from those foundations that GRRM gave us!

Intrigued about who the other piece is that Varys is talking about and what organisation Arya is in. Lovely ending, I like the slow burn between them.

I'm yet to make up my mind if I'll reveal the other piece by the end of that, I must admit that *gaze darts around furtively* I think there'll be another arc/part to this. As for Arya, she's in one of the left wing militias down there! We'll catch up with her finally in the last part :)

She gives him a wry smile. “Not as good as you, but if I aim at something I’ll more than likely hit it.” She shakes her head then, her smile still askew. “I used to tell myself that you’d be proud of me if you knew of it. That I’d finally taken your advice seriously and learned to protect myself.”

I'm just so gratified to see this mature, composed Sansa. My favorite scene actually is the one where she talks about teaching herself how to shoot a gun. A good analogy for her being her own savior.

I like the slow burn, more so because it doesn't feel like an audience tease to heighten anticipation of when the clothes come off. I love the slow build of trust, friendship, love. Eros walking softly... I rather hope you keep it so.

Aw, thank you! When I started this it was very much about Sansa being in a position to save herself (one of the reasons why it's Modern AU rather than in Westeros where it's far more unlikely) and also about the balance between them being changed - in the way they react, in the level of openness regarding emotions.

It did not remain so... but I'm hoping that with your enormous help it turned out alright in the end!

That was great as always and very well written. It flowed all the way through.
Slowly but surly, Sansa is starting to trust again. Poor girl, she had it so hard… Sandor is really doing it the right way, I think.
And now, I wonder what Arya is up to…

He's certainly doing the best he knows how, which for a man like Sandor who's had enough emotional trauma of his own with no help for getting through it is certainly saying something! We will see Sansa in a far better place before too long :)

Awww this just keeps getting better and better!! <3 <3 the thing that they've become, it works so well for them now. Sandor is mindful that Sansa needs to heal first before he could ever come into the picture in a romantic way, but i am sure he already is.
So sweet so read the way Sansa has learn to trust only him! But yeah it was sad that Varys called them cause it meant that there are still bigger factors out there that they can't forget.
really can't wait to see what happens in colombia, and whom will they meet and what will arya do.
sansa here was wonderful, worrying about what will arya think of her now, so innocent to forget that arya probably also has her own demons to deal with.
but they don't need atonement from the other like they do. sandor said that they are kin and blood and that will weigh more than anything in the end :D

Sansa is at this point taking baby steps, but she's certainly learning to trust. She trusts him with her life as she has since the beginning, it's her heart that she needs a bit more time to trust him with.

We've really only seen their journey so far but you're right, there's a lot out there happening that's much bigger, whether it's Arya or Jon or Danaerys and Tyrion. There's a great deal happening and it might catch up with us sooner or later :)

You're right, no matter what both Sansa and Arya have learned enough about the importance of family that I have no doubt at all they'll understand what has happened in the meanwhile!
