The build up of emotions - for both of them, but especially for Sansa - is just exquisite! There were sooooo many moments that were just perfect; things not said, little acts, things that were said...
In the forest after the news of the Red Wedding, when Sansa cried and Sandor just held her, and she didn't want to let him go... *swoons*
This is indeed perfect, one of the best scenarios to what might have happened if Sansa went with him after the Blackwater Bay. Thank you for writing and sharing this!

Thank you so very, very much! Having done a rather romantic Blackwater AU I wanted to take a less romantic route - a story in which Sansa's ability to choose is taken away from her, or so it seems, and how a lasting relationship could possibly grow from such a situation.

And now I promise, I'm staying away from Blackwater AUs for a good long time ;)
