Frisbee tournament this weekend. We put a strong team together and went to sectionals, to give us some experience up against excellent teams, and to play hard against some less challenging ones. We went 1-3 on the first day, losing against 3 large state schools; Western Illinois, Northwestern, and Chicago. We did beat Notre Dame's B team, though ( Read more... )

(read in an obnoxious britich accent) i want to be the first commenter, and i want to NOW! :stomps around a bit:

oh i'm sorry. and i love you, chozmo.

i am going to write and draw a comic starring chozmo, the cute superguy, has a lightning uniform and stuff, and a totally swoopy hair-do.

i cannot find my bed and also my microsoft word ran out of days and i have nothing here so oops couldn't write any papers. i'm laughing but i really don't have any papers due tomorrow.

in one of my friends' away messages:

Wake up late honey put on your clothes
Take your credit card to the liquor store
Said that's one for you and two for me by tonight
I'll be
Loaded like a freight train
Flyin' like an aeroplane
Feelin' like a space brain
One more time tonight

in my mind:
won't you hold me and keep on holding me?

both of these seemed appropriate in an email to you. this entire comment does, almost. but that is a lot of work.

oh, extremely high girlfriend. how extremely high you are. Amused by the world, surprisingly still proficient in html, oblivious to everything that happened that night, telling me strange, halting stories about how you think girls love me for reasons you can't make me understand or remember yourself. How I love you and your altered states of perception.

Charles,
I'm sure this is hard for you, but know that it's okay to feel whatever you feel and just allow yourself your humanity.

You're in my thoughts. If you need anything...

It is pretty hard, but I'll be ok. Thank you for thinking about me.

I mean, this really was a fortunate death, the more I think about it. He found out that he had an advanced state of cancer maybe a month ago, and that there was no way he could escape it. So he had a month to settle his finances, his unfinished business in life, he was able to say goodbye to his friends and his family. I got to see him on my spring break, and we understood that it could easily be the last time. And then when he did die, he had been feeling pretty strong, and died suddenly. It'll be strange and difficult for everyone, but everybody has to die, and he died in a good way.
