Willow watched Peter fretting, and wanted to help.

"Okay, I realize it's a religious thing and I swear I'm not trying to convert anyone, but how about if next year we try to make Purim more of a country-wide party of happiness and not hating winter and by extension witches?" Willow said.

He'd found the book and pulled it out as he turned to her. "What would they be celebrating with Purim then?" Peter asked, just barely remembering the holiday from the books he'd read back in Fandom. "Other than not hating all witches which I completely am in support of."

"Well, there's the whole making of noise and giving of gifts," Willow said. "So we could sell it as like Christmas and New Year's all in one, only not at the same time. As for the story... we could sell it as something Oomian. There's a queen. They like queens. Or at least I hope they do, for obvious reasons."

"They like you," Peter agreed with a smile. Or they did if their name wasn't Edmund. "And Su and Lucy." He came to join her. "We could try it. The problem remains the shortage of food from the winter stores for any celebrations. But with a year to plan, possibly some could be set aside."

Edmund walked in with the intention of discussing an intelligence report that was bothering him. He hadn't counted on seeing Willow. Sometimes, when he was caught up in his work, he forgot she was about. Rather than launching into the matter, he instead set the paper on Peter's desk. "When you have a moment," Edmund said, nudging the paper, then launched into something unrelated. "This winter business. Have we thought about relocating the whole country to a warmer climate?"

The paper was noted, and Peter cocked an eyebrow at Edmund. "Interesting proposal, Ed. Shall we place it over the Archenland or farther towards the desert?"

"I suspect Archenland would disapprove, and then we'd have to defend the southern border a little more closely than I'd like. What about turning Narnia into an island?"

"We should build up the navy first," Peter decided. "We can position it just north of the Lone Islands."
