Though the Kings of Narnia duelling was not an uncommon sight in the training yards of Cair Paravel, it was one that often drew a crowd. "If you believe they'll distract you, you can concede now," Peter offered. Those who knew him would hear the teasing, otherwise he sounded completely serious and even knightly.

He ignored the spectators as he stretched, sword set carefully beside him.

"Would you be implying that my head is overly swollen and needs to be beaten back to earth?" he inquired in reply. "I suppose losing to my younger brother - or sister - would do that."

They could pay no attention to the fact that he rather often lost to Edmund. Facts shouldn't get in the way of polite taunting.

It just so happened that one of those spectators happened to have red hair and a wedding ring that matched one of the combatants'.

Willow tried not to make too much noise on the sidelines. She was rooting for Peter, of course, but she didn't want Edmund to feel bad. She would give a wave or thumbs up to Peter if he looked in her direction though.

Peter smiled as he saw Willow and saluted her with his sword. He did, however, think that Edmund could deal.

Willow replied by blowing Peter a kiss. Edmund wouldn't be getting one of those.

Edmund was incredibly grateful for not being on the receiving end of a blown kiss. That would mean getting far too close to being like European royalty, thank you very much.

Nonetheless, Edmund did the polite thing and courteously saluted her as well.
