I didn't understand the first time I flew to Brissie why the flight up was 1.5 hours and the one back was 3.5. Then I realised they were both 2.5 hours, and you people were STRANGE. Ahem.

You have to be a little strange to live in this climate. Beautiful one day, perfect the next, my ass. More like drought one day, flooding the next!

I used to live up in Townsville and they're REALLY strange. Think about when it was settled. Ye Olde English clothing, no air conditioning and insane-o heat all year around. Who thought that was a good idea?
