Okay, so I don't watch American Idol but I do love me some ohnotheydidnt. There are some spoilers for tonight's American Idol episode that piqued my interest...

lol This is going to end in tragedy. I don't watch the show, but I know who everyone is b/c of ohnotheydidnt. I want to watch, but I'm so afraid that some of my favorite songs will be butchered.

I hate American Idol, but I love Kris honestly. He's the only one there that can actually sing, so I'm really interested to see how it sounds. If it were anyone else singing, I'd be angry.

I will say, he gets kudos from me for picking a song from this century. The others aren't even attempting to be relevant in today's musical reality, are they?

Not at all. Way too karaoke-esque. Singer-songwriter stuff seems to be his forte (being one himself in the pre-Idol days), so I'm confident he won't be too bad. :)

I'm not... I mean, I really, really, really hate to be a snob, but... it's American Idol. It's essentially a karaoke competition.

It's just so... weird.

lol, I think The Frames boards are going to be like me. I remember someone sang it on a similar Irish program and they were not happy about it. For some reason, I can't imagine Glen would be super psyched about it either. Hasn't he said in the past that he hates these types of shows?

You don't need to be a vocal snob to know that. You just need ears that work.
