The battle dome hasn't been much of a option lately -- even if his wounds are healed, the deepest one he received on his side is still forcing him to hold back a little. [Geez, you guys are noisy. Trying to sleep in here, why'd you have to go wake me up by fighting in the yard! Go fight elsewhere! Well, that's what Raven is thinking anyway, right now he's leaning out of the window to watch. He has nothing better to do, and it's always funny to watch Yuri get stabbed.]

[Such a jerk, Raven. Welp, enjoy the show! If anything, it at least might be noticeable that Yuri is not only holding back, but seems to be favoring his right side, rather than being equally agile/reckless with both.]

[Repede is being watchful of Yuri as he circles around him. He's waiting for Yuri to make the next move. He's wary of causing more injuries to Yuri, but at the same time, he wants to keep this a challenge for him.]

[Yuri's mostly focusing on general sword swings, for now. He isn't (and won't be) using many artes during this, mostly because some of them involve him swinging himself around in a way that could possibly make him feel very much NOT like flowers and happiness and kittens.

Martel always knew that it wasn't polite to stare, but it was difficult for her to resist the urge. Who could blame her? She was watching a man fight a dog wielding a knife. Just as she about to look away, she noticed something about the man. It seemed like he was injured. ]

[Not when the animal's abusing right back! I think.

At the moment, Yuri doesn't realize he has an onlooker -- he's too "in the zone" ... or at least too focused on not letting his partner get an easy win with this spar.

But the fact that he's dodging and doing most of his movements with his right side is probably somewhat noticeable, as Martel seems to be picking up. His injury may have been several weeks old, but it was pretty deep and still causes him some pain if he pushes it. ... Or at least if he leans or twists too much with his left.

So for right now, he's just focusing on this little fight with his dog. Don't worry, Martel, he'll likely spot you in a few moments.]

[ Her motherly instincts are beginning to emerge. She's not certain how bad his injury is, but the winces on his face says that it's not something minor. Her mind debates calling out to him, but she doesn't really know the man. She just hopes that he doesn't push himself too hard. ]

[During a dodge, Yuri finally notices Martel nearby. ... Hmm. He's pretty sure he saw this person before in Luceti, but it was a very long time ago, so he's not quite sure. But that's fine. He could care less about anyone watching him, really.

... Still, having an audience sort of makes him want to show off a bit. So, he may be trying to step up his game just a little.]

[Sheena watches from his rooftop for a while. She's kind of itching for a spar herself, but Yuri and Repede fight like they've known each other's tricks all their lives.

Which is, in the end, what makes Yuri's weakness noticeable. She almost shouts down to him, but why distract them?]

[Repede's focused on his partner in front of him to notice Sheena right away. He bounds towards Yuri's right, pretending to go for a hit, only to just to lightly tap him with his tail somewhere as he passes.]

[Yuri's pretty focused on Repede as well for now, so he doesn't notice Sheena right away, either. He instead tries to dodge on his left, which ... does not feel too fantastic, but it could certainly be worse. The most that might be seen to hint at that is a bit of a wince before he tries to take another swing at Repede.

... Give him a second, Sheena, and he'll notice you up there -- you rooftop person, you.]

[She is such a rooftop person.

Yuri's got something going on, though, definitely. Huh. ...Wonder if he'll admit it?]

[Well there's no doubt that Yuri fighting against a dog makes her curious. So she stands not too far away, just observing their little spar.

She notices that Yuri's holding back a little and quietly wonders if he was hurt or if he's just going easy on his dog. Well either way, how did that dog learn how to fight like that...]

[It'll be a few more moments before he notices Naoto hanging around, but until then, she can continue puzzling over why that dog can fight the way it does.

... Or not. Hi Naoto! Yuri at least glanced in your general direction, happening to notice you during a dodge. He's still sparring with Repede, but hey!]

[Well hello Yuri! She knows you saw her but she still isn't going to make a gesture or anything to make her presence more known. Don't want to interrupt now do we?]

[Excellent.

Welp, the spar between himself and Repede won't be lasting too much longer -- they've been going at this for quite a while, after all. A good ten or so minutes later, and it'll be finished Repede probably won. At that time, Yuri will have backed off from Repede, taking a moment to catch his breath.]

[As Hakumen is spending most of his time since arriving on exploration trips, he comes across Yuri and Repede fighting at some point. He doesn't move to really interfere or even speak, but simply watches. A bit curious in general at how they are different creatures that fight on equal level.

...Then again, his world has creatures like the Kaka Clan that can battle, but this seems a bit different. Have fun noticing the giant 6'9 guy staring at you guys from afar.]

[Yuri may be focused on fighting times with Repede, but it's pretty difficult to be so In The Zone as to miss someone THAT tall watching you from any distance.

... Especially in such weird looking armor.

... ... Actually, it's kind of creepy.

[Repede would have continued on, but even he had to stop and glance at the newcomer soon as he notices him.

Being the man guard dog of this house, he's going to stop and stare at Hakumen, trying to figure out if the guy is friend or foe.]
