[Sirius is standing outside on the porch looking rather bored. He's managed to get his wounds taken care of, and now he's simply looking for something to do ( Read more... )

[Sirius can have a dog come on by and be agitated from the sounds of the popping and banging. How is he doing that?] Grr...

[Sirius hears the dog growling, and he lowers his wand.]

Well, hello there. Are you lost or do you have an owner somewhere?

[He comes down from the porch and cautiously approaches the dog.]

[He looks at him with his good eye. He let's out an affirmative bark that he's got someone...in doggy language pff. Now he's watching Sirius as he comes closer. Most likely won't let Sirius pet him if he tries.]

[Sirius stops moving, noticing that the dog is watching his movements.]

I don't bite, you know. But I don't blame you for being cautious.

[Communicating would be a lot easier if he were in his Animagus form...]

[Why in the world is this guy blowing up pebbles? Luc gives him a funny look.]

What are you doing?

[It does look odd to people walking by... something that Sirius realizes when he catches sight of the odd look he's being given.]

Exploding these rocks. It's rather fun; you should try it sometime.

[All right, so he's mostly being sarcastic. But he figures that as strange as he must look right now, what he's doing is fairly self-explanatory.]

So you're just doing it for the fun of it?

[It doesn't look very fun to him; more like a mindless way to pass the time.]

I'd rather try something more interesting.

Well, it is fun, but it's also an excellent stress reliever.

A lot of things are interesting; I don't mean to be doing this forever, but until I've had enough.

Already back to making trouble, cousin?

[Tonks' hair and eyes are bright green today, and her arms are crossed over her chest in a mock-threatening pose. She can't quite hide her smile, though.]

Not so much making trouble as relieving myself of some rather unpleasant feelings, Tonks.

[Sirius smiles at Tonks, noting her hair and her pose.]

Nice hair, by the way.

Back to normal, then. I'm glad. Those Malnosso bastards can really cause some damage, from what I hear.

[She beats him to the next pebble.]

You know me, always have to be different.

We should spar sometime. Much as I'm having fun with the happy little housewife thing, I need to keep my reflexes up. 'Specially if they're going to be sending off to fight in this war of theirs.

If anyone's good at healing, it's Hermione. Not that I was expecting one, but they didn't give a reason for why they wanted to test my endurance levels.

[Sirius just shrugs, not wanting to go too much into detail.]

Yeah, I know. And it brightens up the place a little.

[He idly waves his wand then and blows up another pebble.]

Sparring would be a welcome change. Exploding pebbles isn't much of a challenge after the first few times, even if they're bewitched to move around.

[He looks sideways at her.]

Want to try some now?

[Mental note: next time, pick somewhere else to explode rocks.]

Just blowing off some steam.

[Sirius smiles and puts away his wand.]

Sorry if I was bothering you.

[Because I think it's about time Padfoot the Patronus met his namesake... Because Draco's been having difficulties dealing with the reality of more Gryffindorks showing up, he's sending someone else to do the investigating of the explosions for him. So whenever Sirius pauses between explosions, he might see a small white coyote pup patronus crouched down in the snow just carefully surveying and watching him.]

[Some movement catches Sirius's eye just as he's about to blast away another rock. He lowers his wand and turns around to spot the Patronus sitting there and watching.]

So, who do you belong to?

[Considering the fact that Draco's actually hanging out two houses away, he can probably see Sirius outside once he bothers to look out the front window. Huh. What the hell is he doing, blowing up things for fun is his job, isn't it?

Meanwhile, once Sirius speaks to him, Padfoot's going to tilt his head curiously, sniffing at the blown-up rocks.

As for Draco? Yeah, he's going to go ahead and leave the house he's at and start creeping toward DA house to get Padfoot to come back now that he knows what's going on.]

Should I start guessing? There are only so many people here who know how to conjure a Patronus.

[Sirius smiles at the coyote pup who's now sniffing around, and then looks up and glances around, in case the person who cast the Patronus charm is hiding nearby.]
