[when the communicator clicks on, arthur sounds- well, busy. somewhat like a man on a mission, but in the same breath, like he's extremely annoyed]

That sounds like the Breman Mask and the Blast Mask. They're pretty useful; the Breman one is a leader mask; animals and sometimes soldiers will follow you around if you play something while wearing it. The Blast Mask explodes, so you have to be careful if you wear it. They'll be useful on the third day, Arthur.
