[Action Post]

[Remus is outside, walking around restlessly. Tonight is the full moon, and it's showing on him. He's pale, and tired, but not bothered by the cloudy skies and cold weather. He didn't sleep well last night, which is not at all helping.]

Odd weather for May.

[He hears something behind him, in the bushes. It's quiet, but he can hear ( Read more... )

Focus on the good things. Gotcha.

But uh, what's the chocolate for?

Chocolate has special properties which help deal with the effects of meeting them.

Oh. Magic. That explains why bullets, silver, and salt don't do a damn thing. Are we non-magical people capable of doing a spell, or is it just a wizard thing?

Chocolate? Is this really the time for sugar therapy? Because staying behind locked doors seems to be fairly effective for now.

If you've never casted one before, than no. There are people from non-magical parents who become wizards and witches, but it's usually something you'd already know. That's a roundabout answer, I'm sorry. You should stick with one of us.

Chocolate is a known antidote for the chilling effect that they give you, it just happens to taste good too.

I'm not used to having to depend on someone else for this kind of thing, but I guess now isn't the time to whine about going outside my comfort zones.

Will the chocolate help someone who's passed out after an attack?

I understand.

...It should. If they're just passed out.

...Chocolate and kitchen. Right.

So where is the kitchen?

I'm sorry, I just got here. Not exactly the best welcome...

[Slow rattling breath, then rustling noises and fast steps]

[high pitched and upset]Ok, not that way.

No, not at all. I'd tell you it's not usually this bad here, but...

[He draws her a rough map of the way to get to the kitchen from the main hall and sends it to her]

There, that should help. Try and stay calm, alright? We'll take care of you.

Dated to after James and Lily rescue him, obvs. needshaircut May 10 2009, 01:16:08 UTC
I'm going to learn it no matter what. When do we start?

oncein_bluemoon May 10 2009, 05:22:12 UTC
As soon as you get here.

I'm just, um, I'm not entirely confident in my ability to use the charm let alone teach it. But when you were here before, you knew it. So it's .... we'll work it out.

If I can do it in the future, I'm sure I can do it now. And you can get a head start on being my professor.

Right. [He even sounds embarrassed as he says it. Mostly due to the fact James spent so much time talking about this. The books are a touchy subject. Or rather, the future is. He's just glad James never brings up Tonks, who is an awkward subject.]

We'll be there. Lily and I are getting Harry first. Something's got him. We'll be there as soon as we can.

The same things, I bet.

Be careful, alright?

We've got to be able to take care of this. I mean, we apparently...I apparently...dealt with this kind of thing in the future but it seems so much different. Like we're not ready. But we have to be. For everyone.

Just be safe.

You know me. Aren't I always careful?

[Filtered to Remus | Viewable by Sirius and Lily]

Right. All we can do is our best. I've sure as hell never dealt with this before, but there's not much choice here. We have to be able to for everyone's sake.

I will. We all will be.
