Yarn: DENIED

Well, poop. I was going to order some Knit Picks yarn for the sweater I want to knit... but you can't split a payment on two cards. I have a Visa gift card I want to use up and then I wanted to put the rest on my regular card. Alas, they cannot do this for some reason

Raymond's phone (the replacement for the one he ran through the washer) had a mail-in rebate, which arrived in the form of one of those Visa gift cards. They're a real pain to spend. We tried to use it at Costco and oh, the horror, you'd have thought we were trying to use Monopoly money.

Honestly, it isn't that the Visa gift card is hard to spend - it was a birthday present and there aren't any restrictions on how I can use it. It's just Knit Picks.

I think I'm going to use it to buy a Knit Picks gift card since they DO take those in conjunction with other forms of payment. It was elusis's idea and it's BRILLIANT. *grin*
