Bastianhad just come out of the shower, and was running a towel through his hair as he wandered into the living room as her bellow. "What's that, love?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
He'd actually heard what she said, but he loved to tease her about her mumbling to him when he wasn't even in the room.
After all, it was adorable when she did it. Slinging the towel around his neck, he leaned against the wall, looking at her with an amused expression.
Ronnie glared up at him, smirking. "I saaaaid," she replied, looking rather indignant, "that I want to cook for you. Something special and... complex. Y'know?"
She hopped up, then slipped up to him to ruffle his damp hair. "You've gone and washed off all that lovely man smell," she joked, nuzzling against him happily. "You're lucky I still love you."
With a wink, she tugged his towel from his hair and headed into the kitchen, toting it with her. "If you want dry hair, come an' see me!!"
"Really?" Bastian purposely made himself sound curious and a bit surprised, and his grin widened as he looked at her. "Well, then, I'd love a souffle." As soon as he said it, he mentally kicked himself, because oops, he'd just let on that he'd heard what she'd said.
Laughing as she grabbed his towel and toted it into the kitchen, he followed her. "Hey! You're going to give me a messy bed-head look, and it'll stick."
That was what happened when his hair randomly dried without any help from a towel or a brush, and she very well knew that.
"I know that," she replied, swinging the towel around in a circle as she moseyed through the kitchen. "I happen to like that messy bed-head look! The only other way I get it is if I keep you in bed, being messy, and well, let's be honest. That's too much work when I can just steal your towel."
She grinned wide, did a little jig with his towel on her bum, and then draped it over her head like a veil.
"Dum dum da-dummm... Dum dum da-dummmm..." she sang, grinning herself silly as she grabbed a couple of wooden spoons and held them like a bouquet in front of her. "D'ya think Genie would be terribly disappointed if her bouquet was the wisk? I think it's rather contemporary, m'self."
