Date/Time: 'LGBtH', Monday, Nov. 9th, first period Location: Around the halls, but probably sneaking off somewhere. Open To: Anyone Currently involving: Li & Lou
Li, for his part, wanted to know if it was possible and allowed to shut and lock one's partner should they run out of doors. Frankly, that sounded much more interesting than just working with boring old planks of wood that couldn't protest or flail about interestingly. He had been looking for a victim to try this out on when Lou suddenly walked up and grabbed his arm.
"Lou! Sure!" Though apparently enthusiastic about the idea of being her partner, he said this before her question had even reached his conscious mind. For a split second, he continued looking around at people until he finally became aware of his having agreed to be her partner, at which point there was an obvious moment of, 'Ohhhhhh!'
"Well, I guess we'll have to find a door, then," He remarked, having recovered from this revelation. "Or at least someone who looks like a door. Like... him! Over there!" Li pointed at someone across the hall who, aside from not actually being a 'him' looked nothing like a door.
“Don’t be ridiculous, Perkins is much more of a door than he is!” Lou said, nodding to a rather flat looking blonde girl. “Were you wondering if it was possible to perform Colloportus on a person, too? It isn’t. I tried it on my cousin once before. He only turned into a faintly intelligent shade of purple. C’mon now, or they’ll see us!” she grabbed his arm again and lead him down the hall through the crowd of students.
“Besides- you can practice Colloportus anytime you want, can’t you?” Skivving always brought a rush of dizzying adrenaline to Lous head, although she’d done it often enough that it shouldn’t have been a problem. Perhaps now it was just the rush of coercing Li to skiv off with her? She dragged him down to the edge of the hall, and with one quick look to make sure no eyes were turned their way, pulled him into a room that wasn’t really a room, but actually a hallway, which lead into another hallway, which lead to a set of stairs.
"Oh, is that all?" Li asked facetiously. "Well, so long as we're out we may as well just forget the whole 'class' thing. Flitwick will get mad if we come back, you know."
Similarly excited, he all but bounced down the stairs when they came to them, moving of his own volition now. What was it with girls he knew wanting to drag him everywhere, anyway? Was there something wrong with just asking him if he wanted to go places? Did they think he lacked free will? Certainly, Li had never skivved from class before, since he hadn't seen much of a point to it, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't have said yes if Lou had offered. He didn't mind, though, since Lou and Savannah seemed to be the only ones who did this to him, and he thought they both had good taste in places to go. Which reminded him - "Oh, are we going somewhere in particuar? Like, outside maybe. I hear that's where they keep the fresh air these days. Though, less and less so all the time..."
“Psh, of course we’re not coming back. Anyone who needs to lock doors ought to use a key and be done with it.” she said, matter-of-factly. Assured that he would not make a break for freedom, she released his arm. You couldn’t simply -offer- to skip class with people. It was something that was just done.
“Astronomy Tower. No one will see us up there. But we have to be all quiet and sneaky like on the fifth. Because of McGonagle catches me, I’m dead. D-E-D. I’ll be scrubbing every toilet in the school, and then some.” They climbed two flights of stairs and got off on the fifth floor landing. She took Li along mostly for her sanity, because going off and smoking at the top of the Astronomy Tower was certainly something one could easily do by themselves. But it was definitely a lonely thing to do.
“How’re you and blonde Hufflepuff?” she whispered, peering around the edge of the corridor to make sure the Gryffindor head was nowhere to be seen.

“I need fresh air, that’s all.”
