Location: Corridor to Library
Open to: Any
Involving: Adelle, Tony

Adelle sighed as she pulled her bag to rest across her chest. A hand moved up, tucking hair behind her ear, and her eyes stayed to the ground. She had every reason to return to that confident and cool Adelle that ruled the hallways that she walked down in the prior term, but for some reason, she just looked slightly broken. It was an odd thing, knowing that for the past few months, and for months and months to come, one would be completely unable to have any sort of control over their life. She was a promised girl with a destiny that was already laid out for her. And, despite her reassurances to both her family and her fiance, Adelle was absolutely crushed.

So many things had gone wrong for her. Her first love, taken away from her. She had tried to get it back, but in the end, he didn't show. Their plans of running off together? Thrown away the second William had told her that he left school before they were even suppose to meet up. Her future? Adelle had fancied being an Auror. Now, she'd likely be a housewife, expected to have dinner ready at a certain time and tidy up the closets just so. Children? Merlin, Adelle wasn't sure that she'd ever want to have children, but with her father stating that she, like the rest of her family, would love to have seven or more babies, she knew that the expectation was set for her to be quite the little birther. All of that, plus so much more... Adelle wasn't even sure if she could breathe on her own anymore.

She made her way down the hallway, seeking escape. Hopefully she could find a novel in the school library to read.. possibly a story about some strong woman that escaped her fate to do what was right, and what she wanted in her heart. It was something that Adelle would never do, but Merlin.. in her imagination, she had free reign.
