Yawning, Patrick flipped to the next page in his book. Ah, yes. That was more like it. Near seven years of comfortably reading in his common room, and it was still his favourite activity! The Wanderings Of Oisin And Other Poems had always been his favourite Yeats selection, and the very book he chose to read just then.

'Why do you wind no horn?' she said, 'And every hero droop his head? The hornless deer is not more sad, that many a peaceful moment had, more sleek than any granary mouse, in his own leafy forest house, among the waving fields of fern: The hunting of heroes should be glad.' And somehow, through the randomness that was Patrick's head, it all reminded him that he really needed to pay a visit to Nadia sometime that day. Missed the beaut, he really did

"Patrick!" Kaia yelped, dashing towards him, her eyes still filled with tears. "I was going to the Piano Room to practice, and I... I..." she burst into sobs, still clutching poor Sparkles, who was now meowing to be let go.

Patrick's brow rose drastically as he watched her, listened to her. He immediately noted injured knees and teary eyes. "You went to the Piano Room to practice and..." Looking her over once more, then motioning for her to sit down on the couch next to him, he quietly continued. "...slipped, fell, and hurt yourself?"

She shook her head, "I, I ran into two guys in there... And they were... doing things..." She sat down, finally letting go of Sparkles. "One of them was so mean to me, and the other was polite, but I could tell that they didnt want me there," Kaia sobbed softly.
