Arashi. I've only ever done this once before, in 2009. I'm very ambivalent towards my own writing and thus find writing hard. Currently working on an Ohno/Aiba for one of the fundraiser fics that I owe and any perspective at all on my writing would be very much appreciated!
You are a lovely writer. I'd love to read more from you, especially if it were something that felt like it just flowed from your fingertips, something you enjoyed writing and didn't stress over too much. I think you are a good enough writer that you should trust yourself and write what you'd like to write, then release it to the world for us to love as well! :D
Spica is still the fic that stands out the most to me. I remember when I commented on it, I said part of what I loved about it was all the things you didn't say! It's really kind of amazing when an author can communicate to the reader just as much through the parts that aren't there.
What I'd like to see from you is more! And I know that sounds like a cop-out because people always say "All I want is for you to write more! :D" but I mean it from the perspective that... I think the more you write and share, the more confidence you'll build and the more you'll explore your abilities. Don't hold yourself back! I think you have a lot of great stories still waiting to come out! ♥
Spica is special to me so I'm very glad to know that it found favour with you. ♥ Also, thanks for saying that about the things I didn't say and for cheering me on!
i read spica recently and i really, really enjoyed it.
sometimes i feel really privileged to see a fic you've written because i feel like you underestimate yourself. i seriously respect you as a writer. you use a lot of words i feel rather than understand, and with anyone else, i probably wouldn't bother. but with you, it's an experience that i honestly can't find anywhere else in the fandom. and i treasure that.
at the same time i hesitate to childishly goad you on (i'm doing that, right) because i think you only set the bar higher for yourself each time and that makes it difficult for you to forget everything else and just write. i'm with phrenk on this; i'd like to see you just write because you felt like it. it sounds selfish to say this, but i want you to enjoy writing as much as we enjoy reading what you write. i really think it would work, y'know?
and another thing -- i've never said this, but the last line of anseo continues to inspire me. sometimes i just think of it, and go, good god, that was beautiful. beauty like that, it

No, this comment is the one of the best comments I've ever received. ♥ I have a bad habit of using my replies to comments as the dangling carrot for me to write so I promised myself I'd reply when I posted new fic!
Oh yay, Spica and yay Anseo. You know, I was actually very concerned that they were both too alike.
Thank you for such an honest and intuitive reply, it really means a lot to me and your validation of my writing is an amulet. Thank you.
Ah, I feel so, so guilty about my fundraiser fics!!

P.S. You have no idea what kind of relief it is that I'm not the only one who hasn't completed my fundraiser things
