Arthur is dragging his feet...he doesn't know if he can do this... Guinevere had asked him to do only one thing, take care of Merlin.
And now Merlin was dead.
How could he possibly break this news to her...how could he possibly say those words? It would break her heart...

Amhar is uncharacterisically quiet, he is clutching his pillow and looking very scared. Rose's heart goes out to him, in fact she sits next to him and strokes his back.
Duran on the otherhand is playing on the rocking horse, he realises that something's wrong, but he doesn't understand what.
Soon the Lady Morgana's wards will be brought in. Rose hopes that they'll be a comfort to her charges, especially Amhar.

So she sees Duran playing on the rocking horse, but her champion's very quiet, like Carys is, so she's made, in her mind, and obvious connection. "Did Merlin upset you too?" Whether or not Amhar fully understands, or only has a better grasp than Tarrwyn, is yet to be seen.

"He went away before he came to get me up. That wasn't very nice of him. If he was going to leave, I'd want to give him a kiss goodbye." She's rather annoyed about that. She missed doing the same thing when her new Uncle Arthur left for a while, but made up for it, and she's hoping that no one thinks she doesn't like Merlin. She thinks he's fine, when he isn't upsetting everyone.

Bringing up the Queen's medicinal tea, Morgana makes what will be her last stop for the night.
There's a soft knock, before Morgana pokes her head in, "Gwen?"
