what an awesome summer...
this have been going great. im back home in NJ right now with lester. things arent as fun in jersey as they are in IL with him. his family is so much more laid back, and gives us so much more freedom, plus his town has SO much more to do it in.. but yea, what can you do.
So my 3 weeks in IL was awesome. its cool cuz me and les really don’t do that much. we'll go out and stuff, but we have a great time just sitting around in his house and being stupid.
I final went into the actual city of chicago, twice. it was so pretty, and so clean, and just... yea it was cool. the first time I went in I saw lake Michigan, which basically looks like an ocean and was really cool, and then his family took us to a museum which was cool cuz I got to see dinosaurs! (im one of those deprived, uncultured children that doesn’t go to museums with there family, and therefore have never seen a dinosaur skeleton). The second time we went in, I got to go to a Cubs baseball game which was a lot of fun, even though im really not into baseball, then after that we got to walk around the city and stuff. I cant wait to go back.
His graduation party was fun. Yay for kegs. And yay for les starting to drink at like, 2 in the afternoon all the way through 3am. fun times. I got pretty drunk towards the end of the night when his family was leaving and his friends were showing up. his family was pretty cool, but yea anyway... as usual, I turn into the stupid giddy giggly drunk, and rolled around in his back yard looking for my lost shoes, and talking to people I don’t know, oh and me and this girl were peer pressured by les and one of his friends to make out with each other, and in our drunken stupor we did, and yea. I also tried smoking a cigar, which was pretty gross, but it was strawberry flavored, so it made it a little better. I actually made pretty good friends with Nick that night (nick is really good friends with Tim, nick pretty much always hated me because of the whole Tim thing) but yea, me and nick talked for awhile, I used to hate him as well, just cuz I knew he hated me for a really stupid reason, but we got along well, and yea.
his family also took us too the Brookfield ZOO!!! Oh I <3 zoo's. I have pictures I’ll post at a later date.
so yea, the rest of time we really just hang out with each other, going to malls and movies and stuff, or just farting around, hanging out with his friends, and it was all good times...
and because of lester and his friends, I have now become obsessed with the game Halo for xbox. I suck at it, but its so amazing... there was like, 12 of us playing it at one time. they like network up their xboxs and play on teams and shit. GAH its fun I need to buy it.
and lester gave me his old stereo which is actually really cool since he bought a new one while I was out there. yay for hand me downs =)
So the drive back to NJ wasent bad. I drove for 8 hours straight, while lester slept. But he did the worst driving through half of PA, when it was down pouring like fucking crazy.
The first weekend we were back here was pretty hectic.
Friday- Chris's prom. It was fun =) I'll post picks later.
Saturday- Lester and I drove up to PA to my cousins house. Ethan was getting baptized, and I was the godmother =) We sat around with my cousin and her hubby all night, playing pool and drinking, it was awesome. they're so cool...
Sunday- the baptism, and party.
But other than that weekend we haven’t done much. We were invited to Chris's graduation party on Monday, so we drove up there with pincus. it was actually really fun...
Thursday was me and lesters one year anniversary =) So for that... we went down the shore and hung out on the beach during the day, and did the whole boardwalk thing at night. We slept over my grandparents house cuz they live down the shore, and then woke up the next morning and went to the beach again. It was fuuuun, and im taaaan =D
And so yea, I think we're going into the city tonight with pincus and shamus... if I ever call shamus, oops. We shall see.
next week.... DISNEY WORLD!
