Wow. that was very well-written and I had a great time reading it. Very unique plot, and wonderful interactions between Kaoru and Kenshin.

It was engraved on his memory... forever. That line was really sweet and made the whole impact of this fic.

ohh~ i haven't posted a comment yet! ah well, here it is ^_^
that was a rather unique take on the KxK blanket scenario pairing-them meeting many years before the "actual first meeting". if kenshin actually *did* remember, that's just sweet of him. but he's still sweet here nontheless. im kinda confused about the timeline though.

anyway, great job! i liked the details you put into the story :)

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I figured I'd do something that I hadn't seen done in a K/K blanket scenario before. I might still write one when they are both adults though... ~_^

*smiles sheepishly* I see I forgot to put in the timeline. Sorry. This story is set three years after the Bakumatsu. Kenshin's 22 and Kaoru's 9.

The story's defitely one of a kind, one I haven't seen done before in a KK too :) There are lots of KK-adult-version BS already, but if its got a unique plot again, why not? ^_^

Yeah, that's Tohru's parents. I love their story, it's sad but good. Would love to see Arisa and Kureno in the same position though. ~_^ I'm really routing for them.

Oh and thanks for the banner.:D Love it, now I just have to figure out how to put it on my lj.

This is lovely. Poor Kaoru, so attached to the ribbon. Poor Kenshin, so attached to his pain. I could feel the wind and the cold and the snow. Good job on the characterizations. I look forward to reading more of your work.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Living in upstate NY helped immensely for the icy wind and snow. I did my best to keep the two of them in character, it was hard though turning Kaoru into a child.

btw, love the icon... love that man...
