Yeah, I noticed when I was working on the Blood Asp and some of them came calling. I took one down, and then bailed the hell out of there - the Blood Asp is somewhere safe for now.

I cannot say I am terribly surprised; the Ice Hellions are known fairly well among the Clans as 'shoot first, think later', and tend to strike rapidly and with a ton of force. If the initial thrust does not work, there is a good chance they will tire themselves out.

I am going to see if anyone is organizing things, since I know that if I do, the Ice Hellions will be immediately after me - they have no love of Star Adders to begin with, but seem to have a special hatred for me. My suspicion would be that their response towards Amelia is much the same, but we will see what we can do. If nothing else, we probably know more about fighting them than anyone else.

Ah. I'm glad to see my instincts didn't steer me wrong. I'm also glad you managed to get out safely.

So, if we make them work for it long enough, they might decide it's not worth their time and take off? I'm down with that sort of plan. I'd rather not have to do the organizing -- I can only do so much of that shit at once, and I'm already stacked a couple deep -- but I'm available to help and can bring party favors for others. I may even see what I can get ONI to fork over, but I don't expect it to be much.

Right now, I'm trying to make sure my own are safe. We're in the Sanctuary right now - looks like they tore through our house pretty brutally after we left. I'm glad nothing valuable was in there. Amelia and I should be fine, but I don't know how Selene is going to deal with all of this; it's really weird for her to be basically *unable* to help, but.

It's not a matter of that, so much as they're really bad at keeping with things. They have trouble dealing with sustained offenses that don't immediately work.

Once I get my stuff together, I'll see if I can get people together if nobody else. I'll keep an eye on things here for now, though. Hopefully we can get rid of them soon.

She couldn't at least fireball a couple of those power-suit guys?

Aha. Okay. Well, I imagine we can make that work well enough, too.

Okay. Sounds good. I've been suggesting that people not just go randomly starting some shit until something organized is together. (On the other hand, I suppose there's always the possibility of an immediate situation where letting it happen would be worse, but hopefully it won't come to that.)
