My roommate has brought us a cat. I'd always believed that cats were generally quiet pets, but this one seems to be determined to defy convention. At least most of our furniture is in such shape that a few cat scratches won't show up very much ( Read more... )

I suppose that I still ought to acquire a scratching post anyway to spare our furniture more wear and tear.

And I have not deleted the picture. You are welcome to use the camera if you would like. I've no objections.

Maybe you had better consult the cat about this. He strikes me as the kind who would scratch the furniture and leave the scratching post pristine, just to demonstrate his superiority.
