Okay, well, I've been searching through these big smelly rectangular... things for machina parts, but all I found was trash. Yick, what a stench! I had to bathe for like ten hours to get it out of my hair. ... okay, it didn't take that long, but still, ugh

Now that you mention it, I was considering finding a place of employment earlier this week. Perhaps at a library or some similar location? At the very least, I could 'hone my signing skills' while you tinker with the computers there.
