it's interesting. can you explain the sentence "i'm in a sugar ray video" to a none-english backround person?

sugar ray is a band and they have a video were they ride around on scooters. I figure you understand that much of it.

SO what I mean by saying "I'm in a sugar ray video" is:

if I was riding a scooter I would feel like I was part of that video because there are two common events linking the video and me together. Acting, saying, doing, etc something that is identical or common to another event.

if you need more of a explanation just tell me.

Beijing was way too touristy for my taste. If anything it would just be a day or two stop over before goin' back to xi'an. I stayed over beijing for a day and I swear to god I must of had to tell 100 people I didnt want to go to an art gallery to see some art work they made. Xi'an is alot more laid back and calm. The old men and woman just stare at me wondering why I am there and other 97% just want to have a conversation.
