i didn't know it was by a stingray. that's one hell of a way to die.

He got stabbed in the heart by the stingray's venomed, barbed tail. Like, as in not an exaggeration, it stabbed him through ther heart. I think that's pretty good, meself.

PS stingray venom, while not lethal - it was the jagged barbs ripping through his heart cavity that killed him - is described by experts as "unconscionably painful".
