Of course the definitions of rape in these cases are usually so broad that unwelcome snuggling (by someone that you wouldn't mind snuggling with most of the time but you got a fever or a bad cold at the moment) gets called RAPE by the statistic taker.

Lying with statistics is a time-honored propaganda technique. And actual rape victims - the ones that really do feel the humilation, pain and guilt of a rape can't get help because there are so many "rape" victims that filled out a survey and put "had sex with husband in the middle of the night because he was horny and I was too tired to slap him, so I laid there and faked it for five minutes to get some sleep." in the answers.

That doesn't make sense. The statistics and statistics gatherers aren't taking away resources from anybody.
