Summary: Yesung can't sleep and everything is keeping his awake.(oneshot)
Yesung watched as the red numbers change from 1:34 to 1:35 on his clock. The loud thumping noise from the other side of the thin walls were keeping him awake when he would much rather be asleep. With a sigh he turned over on his bed and looked over at the sleeping form next to him. His fingers found its way up to Ryeowook's cheeks and gently stroke them.
"Wookie-ah," Yesung whispered, "I can't sleep." Ryeowook stirred and incoherent sounds came from his lips, but didn't wake up. A loud moan and more thumping was heard, Yesung glanced wearily at the thin walls and knocked on it loudly, "Eeteuk hyung! I'm trying to sleep here! Can you guys try to keep it down?" He got no response except a loud dramatic moan from Kangin. Ryeowook mumbled something and flipped over to the other side, all without waking up.
The clock now read 2:42 and while Kangin and Eeteuk had settled down, Siwon and Heechul on the other side was just getting started. Yesung groaned as he heard Heechul's shouts, he grabbed his pillow and covered his ears. It helped muffle the shouts, but before long, moaning Siwon had joined in along with the shouting Heechul. Fuck these walls. Yesung buried his head into the crook of Ryeowook's neck. He breathed in the soft scent of the younger man and smiled softly. His fingers lightly touched Ryeowook's ears and he leaned in and whispered, "Wookie-ah. Are you awake?" There was no response from the younger man except for a light snore. Yesung sighed again and laid back with his arms behind his head, staring at the ceiling above.
"OH! SIWON" Heechul shouted.
All was quiet when the clock turned 3:14. Yesung had finally gotten his peace and quiet. He turned over on his side toward Ryeowook and closed his eyes, and dozed off. A sudden loud ringing sounds woke him up minutes later. Yesung reached over to the table on the side and picked up his phone.
"Hello?" Yesung answered quietly, not wanting to awake Ryeowook.
"Hello, would you be interested in buying a lotion proven to erase acne and blemishes from your face? Press 1 for yes, 2 for no, 3 for more information," a computerized voice responded. Yesung cursed at the phone and hung up, falling back on the bed. Tossing and turning, he just couldn't fall back to sleep after being awakened. He yawned and rubbed his eyes, "Ryeowook! I can't sleep!" he said to the silence. Ryeowook responded by slinging one leg over Yesung's body and continuing to sleep. Yesung sighed and began to count, hoping he might fall asleep. One, two, three, four-...
"Yesung. Yesung! YESUNG!" a voice jostled him awake.
"Hmm? Oh, Ryeowook? Mmm? What's -yawn- wrong?" Yesung responded with his eyes half opened. He felt the younger man shake him until he was fully awake.
"What? I'm awake! Is it time to get up yet?"
"No. Not yet. It's only 4:36. I can't sleep with you snoring in my ear." Ryeowook responded, "You snore really loud." Yesung nodded and rubbed his eyes, "My snoring woke you up? You didn't hear Eeteuk and Kangin? Or Heechul and Siwon? Or even the phone ringing?" Ryeowook shook his head and turned the other way, "Try not to snore, I'm tired and want to sleep." Before he could respond, he heard the snoring of the younger man. Yesung sighed and stared at the ceiling, he will never be able to fall asleep or get a good night's sleep this way.
