Worst One Piece Merchandise
Time to break the weekend slump we're in. Seems only one real discussion has occured during the weekend, while everything else are fanfics and fanart (sorry, not much of a fan of fanfics :<). So let's have us an amusing topic to discuss.
Worst One Piece Merchandise
It exists. We all know it does. EVERYTHING that is licensed and has merchandise has crappy merchandise on the markets. Both official and bootleg. So let's all share the worst we can find or have seen (or even own).
To start it off, I present...
Not only is this American merchandise from 4Kids' dub, but it's also hideous looking. Luffy has somehow developed eyes that buldge out of his skull and gorilla-sized arms and hands. His right fist opens up and has ANOTHER hand inside that supposedly spins around as if Luffy used Gum Gum Drill. The other fist is insanely large for no reason at all. The figure is also extremely limited in whatever ways it can move around. For an action figure, it sure lacks a lot of action and brings in a whole lot more of UGLY. Luffy's legs are very limited in movement and certainly can't be posed in any other way other than standing still, otherwise the gorilla arms will out-balance him and cause him to fall over.
Why, oh WHY did Mattel have to make such ugly and absolutely bad One Piece toys? Then again, after seeing some Naruto figures, one has to wonder why Mattel was even chosen to begin with.
