I totally figured Brooke was setting him some sort of trap but it seemed like she was caught off guard. I don't like that a few years ago she would have kicked his ass hardcore with all her self-defense moves but tonight she had to be rescued. Seems like it doesn't sync up. It was kinda surprising that Tara was the one that saved her. My question though, where the heck is this parking garage that they both all of the sudden hang out in? lol
I loved the scenes in the beginning with Dan and them preparing. Too funny!
My thoughts on Brooke not doing the self-defense things is it's great to know in theory. However, she was taken completely off-guard. She did try to defend herself, but this is the monster from her nightmares. You can tell by the way that she reacts about that night that she has serious PTSD. The episode where she rescued Sam from Xavier was different. She had someone to save. She had someone that she loved to rescue. This episode, it was just her and the monster. There was no other driving force that fueled her through her fear. However, while she was under the car, why did she not dial 911?!? Or IDK, text Haley and be like "stuck with xavier in parking garage by diner. call police. 3rd floor under car." I get that she was not thinking clearly (see above: PTSD) and all of that so that could be the explanation.
But yeah, random parking garage is random. Normally, everyone parks in front of the diners.
