Killers in Indiana (which has no hate crime legislation) are using the "gay panic defense" after brutally murdering Aaron "Shorty" Hall -- dragging him, jumping on him, and beating him at least 75 times, then texting proud pictures of their handiwork to friends to brag. I'm simply stunned at this outrageous and senseless act. And with one of the perpetrators having a relative in local law enforcement, yet having no supposed knowledge of the crime after he must have found the house covered with blood from that sort of beating, I can't believe no one is calling for the relative's head on a platter for aiding and abetting a criminal.
