You wanna know the greatest (cue scarcasm) part of Andrea Yates being declared not guilty by reason of insanity...?

Her face as she sat there...she was clearly STUNNED LIKE THE REST OF US.

She might as well have had a thought bubble above her head that read:

"Fuck off...seriously?? They bought it?? SERIOUSLY???...Sweet".

And I sigh.

I don't think she was a very good nurse. see, the first rule of nursing is that we DON'T KILL PEOPLE.

um, i dunno.
is it really that easy a statment. i'll admit, i don't really know a whole lot about this case, but i was just looking around at some of the stories about her... and she had some serious issues going on... it just doesn't seem to clean cut.

My problem, is that she was already convicted....deemed guilty and sentenced. She tries again and gets off? I dunno....I don't like it...

well that has a lot to do with the texas definition of "insanity" something like they had to prove that she didn't know it was wrong. plus a witness that lied... i dunno. yeah it seems kinda wrong that she as a murder "got off" but at the same time, it kinda seemed to wrong to send someone with so much psychological issues to jail, or even dealth penlty (which i don't agree with anyway)
