yeah, FBI did teh same to me. the 3csoftware co passed me off becuase i wasn't a business major. even though i have the experience for waht they are looking for. IBM passed me off. The only ones that took me seriously were Earthlink and someone else that i didn't care about. Everyone basicly said "yeah, you're not a _____ major, so you can just go to the website". F'ing bastardos

The FBI is poo. Working for the government is a pain in the ass, anyway. My boyfriend did it for CS, I did it for chem/research...and really, both of us prefer to just never go back.

i have to agree for the most part. I've done municipality type work mostly. It's got its moments, but so does any job. I just know I'd like to give fed gov work a try, and it's much much better (re: easier on sanity/nerves) to go from gov to private sector than it is to go private to gov.

yeah, i looked at the companies at the fair online beforehand, and realized it would've been rather pointless for me to go. the only people there remotely related to politics were intelligence agencies, which you need like a perfect gpa to work for, anyway.
